Welcome to the Food Pantry!
Beginning September 8th (2nd Wednesday), we will go back to our normal hours/policy of being open every 2nd and 4th Wednesday from 11:30-1:00 pm. You may visit the pantry once or twice a month when it’s open.
We have begun to invite those who have proof of having received a Covid vaccine, to come indoors to make your own selections in the Food Pantry area. We ask that one family unit comes in at a time and that you are masked. Not only do we want to be considerate of each other, but we want to protect our children and staff in our childcare. The entrance to the pantry is around the back (boulevard side) through the glass double doors.
For those who are unvaccinated, you are encouraged and welcome to come to the Sewickley Community Center on pantry days, however, we will do the “shopping” for you as you wait outdoors. We will fill shopping bags for you based on what your needs/likes are.
We'll gratefully receive donations of non-perishable foods and basic non-food items on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month from 9 to 11 am. We also take cash donations or online donations that allow volunteers to purchase fresh food including meat for distribution.
For more information about donating food to the Food Pantry, contact June Wormsley at email@example.com
Donations to the general fund to help sustain the Center's mission and programs are also very welcome at this time! Thank you!
